About the project
Združenie Slatinka was established in 1993 as the citizens' response to the revived plan for the controversial Slatinka water dam. Run mainly by volunteers, it protects natural values, takes part in decisions on projects with an impact on the environment and provides environmental education – from river clean-ups and tree planting to youth exchanges and eco-advice.
Why we support it
Slatinka is one of our charity projects. We support it free of charge:
- design of the website
- web development
- hosting
- maintenance and support
