iCheck USA
iCheck USA is an iPad app for inspecting outgoing shipments at a site in the United States. In 2016 we adapted our iCheck system for it and kept extending it.

About the project
iCheck USA brings the iCheck checklist system, which we originally developed for RHpositive in Slovakia, to a site in the United States. Warehouse staff use it on iPads to inspect outgoing shipments and document their condition before the trailer leaves.
Our part of the job
In 2016 we adapted the iPad app and the admin interface to the American process and kept extending them:
- shipments imported from CSV and synchronised across all iPads
- inspection questions on one screen, with validation and required fields
- photo galleries for each question, with flash and a marking tool to highlight details right on the photo
- trailer number photos cropped to a frame, so only the number itself is stored
- a carrier check – if the carrier differs from the import, a supervisor confirms it with a PIN
- two-phase inspection – one iPad can start a shipment and another can finish it
- merging of manually created shipments with imported ones
- sending in the background, resending when the connection drops, and e-mails when something goes wrong
- an admin interface in English with lists of supervisors and staff
