iRecall started in 2014 as a web app that calls trucks to the ramp by SMS. As iReCheck, it now runs truck handling at a production plant – from the gate to signed checklists.

About the project
iRecall is a logistics application we have developed for RHpositive since 2014. It started with a simple idea: instead of drivers waiting at the gate, the system calls each truck to the ramp by SMS. Over the years it has grown into iReCheck – a system that covers the whole handling of incoming and outgoing trucks at a production plant.
iRecall – calling trucks by SMS
- a web interface with user rights and automatic filters for the gatehouse, reception and other workplaces
- registration of arriving trucks and a list filtered by status, licence plate or phone number, editable directly in the list
- notification templates in several languages sent through an SMS gateway, with a log of every message and its delivery status
- alarms when a message is not delivered or a truck does not arrive at the ramp in time
- statistics and export to Excel
iReCheck – checklists on the iPad
In 2017 we added an iPad app for the people who check trucks at the ramps:
- loading and unloading checklists with photos for each question, seal numbers, pallet counts and temperature checks
- signatures of the driver and the inspector right on the screen
- synchronisation with the server in the background, including resending when the connection drops
- e-mail and SMS notifications when anything is wrong – a different number of pallets, or weight or temperature out of tolerance
- checklists generated as PDF
Backend and reports
- import of orders and materials and their assignment to trucks
- weighing, customs procedures, warehouses and ramps
- electronic books of goods received and dispatched
- checklists in English, Slovak and German
- delivery schedules and online monitors of vehicles at the ramps
- monthly reports in Excel, statistics and interactive charts
We keep developing the system together with the client – recent updates added storage BIN positions, checks of pictograms and temperature labels on packaging, and ISCC PLUS documentation.
